Steelhead Training Ride

Hello Team -

Since many of us are planning on competing in the Steelhead Half Ironman, we'd like to organize a day for our club to go up and do a training ride together. There have been lots of options thrown out there, but we should try to consolidate this ride, if possible.

FRIDAY, JULY 15th - 7am
Meet at 191st and LaGrange (behind the White Castle parking lot)

The plan is to caravan to Benton Harbor where we will first swim for about 30 minutes and then head out to do the bike course. Group lunch planned for after the ride. The ride is unsupported, meaning there will be no SAG vehicles or fluids placed on the course for you. You will need to be self-sufficient. It is recommended that everyone bring a copy of the course - though these are generally marked out well, if you miss a marking, you will at least be able to try and get yourself back on course without calling for help.
